FAQ

Will batch conversion maintain image quality?

Converting to PNG format is lossless and maintains full quality; converting to JPEG or WebP allows quality control via the quality slider. 80%-90% quality settings usually provide a good balance between file size and visual effect.

What happens if duplicate files are uploaded?

Batch tools automatically deduplicate based on file names. If a file name already exists, it will be skipped and not added again. If you see "All files already exist" when adding more files, it means all file names are duplicates.

Will converting to JPEG lose transparent background?

Yes, JPEG format does not support transparent backgrounds. If the original image has transparent areas, they will be filled with white when converting to JPEG. To preserve transparency, please choose PNG or WebP format.

What are the advantages of WebP format?

WebP is a next-generation image format developed by Google. At the same visual quality, file size is 25%-35% smaller than JPEG, while also supporting transparent backgrounds. Modern browsers all support WebP, making it an ideal choice for web optimization.

Will file names change?

Converted files will retain their original file names, only modifying the extension to match the new format. For example, "photo.png" will become "photo.jpg" when converted to JPEG.
