About Batch Resize
Batch resize tool can resize multiple images at once, supporting three resize modes: Fit (scale to fit within target size while keeping ratio), Fill (crop to fill target size while keeping ratio), and Exact (force resize to specified dimensions). Results are packaged into a ZIP file for download. All processing is done locally in the browser.
FAQ
What is the difference between the three resize modes?
Fit mode maintains the original image ratio, scaling the image to fit within the target dimensions; Fill mode also maintains ratio but crops excess parts to fill the target size; Exact size mode forces the image to the specified width and height, which may change the image ratio.
What happens if duplicate files are uploaded?
Batch tools automatically deduplicate based on file names. If a file name already exists, it will be skipped and not added again. If you see "All files already exist" when adding more files, it means all file names are duplicates.
Will batch processing maintain image ratio?
Fit and Fill modes automatically maintain the original ratio of each image. Exact size mode may stretch or compress the image. If you do not want to change the ratio, it is recommended to use Fit mode.
Will the output format change?
Batch resize tool tries to maintain the original format, but only supports keeping JPG, PNG, and WebP formats. If the original image is in another format (such as AVIF, GIF, BMP, etc.), it will be automatically converted to PNG format.
How to download processed images?
After processing is complete, click the "Download All (ZIP)" button to package all images into a ZIP file for one-time download. Original file names are preserved in the ZIP file.
